We're looking for
Production Supervisors to join our Armstrong division located in
Armstrong, British Columbia and our White Valley divisions located in
Lumby, British Columbia. Our Armstrong Lumber Division safely and sustainably produces 234 million board feet of lumber each year, while our White Valley facility produces 225 million square feet of veneer annually. We provide these products to customers around the world to help them build their homes and communities.
Our ideal candidate has the following qualifications:
- A strong commitment to safety, quality, lumber recovery, and production efficiency.
- Minimum3-5 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing,preferably in a lumber manufacturing environment.
- Strongleadershipandpeople management skills,with a focus onsafety and reliability.
- Strongorganizational, time management, interpersonal and communicationskills.
- Ability to work a variety of shifts.
- Experience inbuilding and developing a positive team environment.
- Post-secondary education in forestry, sawmill business or industrial wood processing would be considered an asset.
In this role, you will:

- Provide direction and leadership to a production crew.
- Ensure production targets and schedules are metas forecasted by monitoring production schedules, tracking progress and making adjustments as needed.
- Ensure efficiency and qualityin lumber products manufacturing.
- Promote a culture of safetyby ensuring work is performed in accordance with company policies and procedures and that risks are identified and mitigated.
- Build strong labor relations and maintain effective communication.
