WHAT THE ROLE DELIVERSIn this role, you will lead the safe, efficient, and continuous production of polymer operations in a 24/7 manufacturing environment. You will drive performance by aligning people, processes, and priorities-ensuring production goals, safety standards, and quality expectations are consistently met. As a key leader on site, you will influence operational excellence through team development, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous improvement. Your impact will be seen in stronger performance, improved reliability, and a more engaged workforce.
WHAT YOU WILL DO- Lead and direct unionized production teams to safely execute daily and long-term production plans
- Coordinate closely with Maintenance, Engineering, and Operations to ensure reliable and efficient plant performance
- Monitor operational metrics and implement corrective actions to address performance gaps
- Champion safety programs and ensure compliance with OSHA Process Safety Management (PSM) standards
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and cost performance
- Plan and manage raw material usage and inventory to support production execution
- Establish priorities for maintenance activities and support turnaround planning
- Coach, develop, and support team members while managing staffing, performance, and labor relations within a union environment
Salary range $115,100 - $172,700 per year. The posted salary range reflects the national average for this role. Final compensation may vary based on location, experience, and qualifications. This role is eligible for an annual performance bonus in addition to base salary.

WHAT WE ARE SEEKING - High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or post-secondary education preferred
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a manufacturing or related industrial environment
- At least 3 years of supervisory or people leadership experience
- Experience in chemical manufacturing or similar process-driven operations preferred
- Working knowledge of production processes, equipment, and industrial safety practices
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and production or maintenance planning tools
- Experience working in a unionized environment and applying collective bargaining agreements preferred
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and team leadership skills
