About the Team:

As a member of our Maintenance team, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment. This dedicated team is responsible for performing preventative maintenance, addressing equipment malfunctions, and implementing solutions to improve operational efficiency. With a strong focus on safety and reliability, the Maintenance Team collaborates closely with other departments to minimize downtime and maintain a productive work environment. What You'll Do at Justrite:
  • Oversees the production floor to ensure a safe environment, quality of product, and that production rates are met.
  • Ensures proper training, sets clear expectations, and gives constructive feedback to associates.
  • Ensures all schedules and deadlines are achieved.
  • Ensures that all production documentation and transactions are completed daily.
  • Plans, develops, and implements process improvements and enhancements.
  • Communicates and implements changes as directed.
  • Ensure that raw materials and/or waste are disposed of according to policy and procedures.
  • Report all equipment breakdowns to the Maintenance team, document, and manage workforce to maximize productivity.
  • Work as a member of a cross-functional team.
  • Ensure associates maintain proper inventory transactions, and correct inventory numbers through cycle counts as necessary.
  • Communicate to Planner/Scheduler regarding production variances.
  • Communicate with Value Stream Manager, Purchasing, and Planner/Scheduler to prevent production disruptions.
  • Maintain proper 5S and Visual Management standards of the production floor.
  • Promote a safety-oriented culture, take action in the event of an unsafe situation, and complete all appropriate documentation regarding safety observations, actions, and investigations.
  • Ensure TPM activities are being performed on all equipment/facility according to required frequency.
  • Ensure adherence to all company policies and safety regulations.
  • Performs any other duties as directed by VS Manager and site leadership.
  • Help supervise overtime shifts as required.

Your Skills and Expertise:

To ensure your success from day one in this role, Justrite requires the following qualifications at a minimum:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
  • Minimum of 2-4 years Supervisory experience in a production environment.
  • Work in industrial manufacturing preferred.
  • Experience working with Infor SyteLine a plus.
  • Experience working with Casting/Plastics/Urethane a plus.
  • Must be organized and detail oriented.
  • Must have the ability to analyze data to make decisions on material/product requirements in the absence of other direction.
  • Must be able to manage multiple activities during the work day and delegate tasks as needed.
  • Must be able to plan to meet deadlines.
  • Able to prioritize and manage a team with a sense of urgency and assertiveness.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be able to promote a positive work environment for under all conditions.
  • An open-minded and innovated self-starter that is eager to learn.

Compensation:

The position offers a competitive base salary ranging from $75,000 to $95,000.

Actual base salaries will vary and may be above or below the recommended pay range based on factors such as but not limited to location, relevant experience and performance. Additionally, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan to enhance their overall total compensation package when Justrite Safety Group and their business units achieve annual business and financial targets.
