Eaton's IS AER ITD Aerospace Interconnect division is currently seeking a Production Supervisor - 1st Shift.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $112000 - $ 130,000 a year.

What you'll do:

Eaton's Aerospace division is currently seeking an Production Supervisor to join our team. This position is based at our Camarillo, CA facility.

Position Overview:

Primary responsibility to oversee the Machine and Molding manufacturing teams. Manages and coordinates all activities of the Focus Factory in processing materials or manufacturing products in the organization by performing the following duties personally or through High Performance work team members. Set tasks and priorities; provide technical support, analysis, and guidance of design, manufacturing, customer/contract support, and procurement.

Essential Responsibilities:
• You will proactively implement, promote, and maintain a safe working environment, through diligence in accident prevention, investigation, equipment maintenance and rule enforcement.
• You will coordinate, leverages, and appropriately utilizes resources with other managers, such as maintenance, materials, scheduling, quality, and engineering, to resolve production and manufacturing problems, improve processes, maximize efficient utilization of resources, and meet external and internal customer demands.
• You will drive the company's vision and mission by reinforcing ethics, values and quality policies throughout their area of responsibility. Aligns workforce to the company vision through Eaton Philosophy workplace practices and beliefs that build trust, mutual respect, and teamwork between employees at all levels of the organization.

• You will act as a business partner by planning, initiating, leading, measuring, monitoring and assessing continuous improvement programs and manufacturing process improvements by applying appropriate Eaton Business System (EBS) processes and problem-solving tools such as ELS (Eaton Lean System) and 5S.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• 5+ years of supervisory/ operations leadership experience in a manufacturing production environment.
• No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within 50 miles of Camarillo, CA will be considered for this position.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Experience with Machining molding products /processes.
• Experience with SAP.
• Aerospace industry experience
• Working knowledge of production processes, lean manufacturing, and quality control techniques, 5S, Six Sigma, and Quality Systems (e.g., AS 9100, ISO 14001).

• Understanding of Supply Chain Management operational concepts surrounding production planning, scheduling, purchasing, inventory control, logistics, stockroom operations, and shipping/receiving
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Process Variation Reduction (Six Sigma) concepts and tool sets as they relate to materials management.
