  • Create weekly work plans for production flow.
  • Conduct daily gemba walks to address current production status and obstacles.
  • Present production performance and program status to senior management.

EBAD seeks aproven leader for the position of Production Scheduler.This position is located inMoorpark, CAand will report to theValue Stream Manager.

Responsibilities:

The Production Scheduleris responsible to comprehensivelyplan andmanage the execution of dailymanufacturingactivitiesrequired to support the productionprograms withinspecified production cells. This positionworks with the Shop FloorSupervisor and Production Plannertoexecutethe logistics,coordination andcompletionof alltasks associated with product manufacturing.

Responsibilities:

  • Leading all work scheduling actions ensuring accurate and up-to-date information is available to drive material and capacity requirements including planning adjustments resulting from unplanned demand, forecast shortfalls, production and inventory changes, and changes in customer demand.

  • Reviewing new sales order requests and determining feasible delivery dates.

  • Developingthe production schedules andmaintainingthe production visual boardfor assigned production cell(s); illustrating the status of the production activitiesfor current programs.

  • Monthly planning ofoperatorand equipment resource loading / capacity planning utilizing MSproject or MS Excel.

  • Creatingtheplan for theweekly workrequired to be flowing through theassignedproduction cell(s).

  • Brief dailygembawalk team on current status, obstacles impeding flow, and assistance that is needed.

  • Presenting production area performance (SQDC and Program Status)to senior management when required.

  • Working with ProductEngineers,Production PlannerandBuyers to ensure material flow and production activitiesare aligned.

  • Evaluating production activities for continuous improvement opportunities.

  • Presentingforward-looking capacity inassignedproduction cell(s)to site leadership at monthly SIOP meeting.

  • Coordinateswith Production Manager onmanpower planning to ensure alignment with resources needed to execute yearly backlog &proposed production requirements.

  • Actively contribute toteam activitiesandbrief site operations leadership at Quarterly Operating Reviews.

Requirements:

  • BS DegreeinOperationsManagement,SupplyChain Management,an Engineering Disciplineor equivalent. (Equivalent years of experience will be considered)

  • Strong planning and organizational skills,with ability to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and assignments.

  • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.

  • Good working knowledge of computer applications such as ERP/MRP,proficient in MS Office Suite:Project,Excel, Word, and Power Point.

  • Ability to motivate people, particularly a production workforce environment

  • LEAN Manufacturing concept implementation experience preferred

Salary Range: $90,000- $120,000
