Production Manager

High Prairie, Alberta

We're looking for aProduction Managerto join our High Prairie OSB Division, located inHigh Prairie, Alberta. Our mill has undergone anexciting major rebuild and modernization including the commissioning of a new continuous press making us one of the most modern mills in North America.

Our ideal candidate has the following qualifications:

  • Grade 12 diploma; post-secondary education in Engineering, Wood Sciences, Manufacturing, or a related field is considered an asset.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety leadership and safe work practices.
  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop teams.
  • Strong organizational, planning, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • 3-5 years of manufacturing experience, preferably within wood products or a heavy industrial environment.
  • Experience leading teams in a production setting.
  • Continuous manufacturing and continuous press experience is considered an asset.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
