Essential Duties and Responsibilities:- You will be primarily responsible for web-application development, coding, and testing.
- You will participate in the software development process as part of a scrum team.
- You will collaborate with your team to build features and fix software bugs accurately and efficiently while developing and documenting designs that meet applicable standards.
- You will continuously work to improve the quality of results.
Are You Brilliant?We expect that you will:
- Possess a degree or diploma in Computer Science or a comparable technical degree with 5-8 years of first hand experience developing web-based applications with Java/Java EE
Be proficient with and have demonstrated knowledge of:
- Java and enterprise Java development tools (IntelliJ preferred) and APIs.
- Java EE application containers (JBoss, Wildfly).
- RDBMS persistence systems (Oracle, SQL Server).
- JDBC and JPA.
- Business domain modeling using object-oriented programming techniques.
- Front-end technologies like JavaScript, Ajax, HTML5, CSS3, and JSON.
- Spring Framework.
- JavaScript toolkits (AngularJS, Kendo UI, ExtJS).
- JUnit and Mockito.
- Distributed version control systems such as Mercurial.
