What you will do

Johnson Controls International (JCI) is looking for a talented and detail-oriented AI Product PM with a strong focus on Agile delivery to join our team. You will play a critical role in bridging the gap between business stakeholders and the AI team. Your primary responsibility will be to gather and document business requirements, facilitate communication between business and technical teams, and ensure the successful delivery of projects using Agile methodologies.

How you will do it

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into clear and actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Work closely with the team to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, prioritizing features and establishing a product backlog.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that business requirements are accurately translated into technical solutions.
  • Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and the development team, ensuring clear and effective communication, managing expectations, and providing regular project updates.
  • Apply Agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban, to drive project delivery, including facilitating sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Identify and manage project risks and dependencies, proactively addressing any issues that may impact project timelines or deliverables.
  • Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate that the delivered data and analytics solutions meet business requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and success criteria, monitoring and reporting on project progress and outcomes.
  • Continuously improve Agile processes and practices, leveraging lessons learned from previous projects to enhance delivery efficiency and effectiveness.


What we look for

  • Two years experience as analyst or project coordinator, with a focus on AI projects and Agile delivery methodologies.
  • Experience working in Agile environments, applying Scrum or Kanban methodologies, and using Agile tools such as Azure DevOps
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively bridge the gap between business and technical teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex requirements and translate them into clear and actionable user stories.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Candidates should be flexible / willing to work across this delivery landscape which includes and is not limited to Agile Applications Development, Support and Deployment.


Technology Requirement

  • Experience with Microsoft Office 365 Tools.
  • Familiar with ETL/ELT Tools such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Bricks.
  • Familiar with Cloud based DW solutions such as Snowflake.
  • Familiar with ETL/ELT Framework design and implementation.
  • Familiar with Azure DevOps


Essential Skills

  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills to communicate technical solutions to business teams.
  • Understanding trends, new concepts, industry standards and new technologies in Data and Analytics space.
  • Ability to work with global distributed teams.


HIRING SALARY RANGE: $85,000-100,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
