Job Purpose: The Product Platform Manager supports the strategic and operational success of one or more products within a Product Platform. The role is responsible for executing product strategies, driving roadmap implementation, managing the product lifecycle, and ensuring product competitiveness and profitability through cross-functional coordination and data-driven decision-making.

30% Product Roadmap Execution

  • Implement product strategies and roadmaps defined by the Product Platform Owner.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely and effective delivery of roadmap milestones.

20% Product Lifecycle Management

  • Oversee day-to-day product lifecycle activities, including new product launches, product updates, and end-of-life transitions.
  • Ensure alignment with market needs and customer requirements.

20% Business Performance & Financial Tracking

  • Monitor product performance indicators, including revenue, margins, costs, and competitiveness.
  • Support pricing recommendations and profitability improvement initiatives.

15% Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Act as the interface between Product Creation, Product Supply, Marketing, and Sales Units.
  • Drive coordination to ensure high-quality execution across functions.

15% Market and Customer Insight  

  • Analyze customer needs, market trends, and competitor activities.
  • Provide recommendations to shape product positioning and portfolio decisions.

Scope and Impact

Geographic Scope:

Global – responsibilities extend across multiple regions and markets worldwide.

Decision-making Authority:

Moderate – Approves operational plans, manages defined budgets, and adapts tactics within established guidelines.

Budget Responsibility: Indirect – Provides input into budget decisions, advises on cost optimization, or recommends investments, without direct control.

Product Scope: Responsible for one or more products within the Product Platform.

Management Responsibilities:

A manager of people has direct reports and spends a significant amount of time managing those reports. Managing others should be one of the core job responsibilities.

Minimum Requirements for job:

Education

  • Education in surveying, construction management or civil engineering related fields preferred

Technical / Professional Skills

  • Experience in construction and / or surveying related practices
  • Knowledge of product lifecycle processes, profitability metrics, and go-to-market planning.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and experience interpreting data to drive decisions.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a cross-functional environment.
