Job Description:

The Product Owner supports and enhances internal and third-party warehousing systems that are critical to our distribution center operations and broader supply chain execution. This role may own multiple assigned applications and is responsible for requirements definition, delivery coordination, stakeholder alignment, and continuous improvement within a fast-moving operational environment.

This is a hands-on, execution-focused role ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of distribution center operations, system configuration, process improvement, technology, and vendor-led software delivery.

What You'll Do
  • Own day-to-day product execution for one or more warehousing, distribution center, or fulfillment applications.
  • Elicit, analyze, and document business and system requirements for continuous delivery.
  • Translate operational needs into functional specifications, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
  • Partner with third-party vendors and internal technology teams to support design, build, testing, and release cycles.
  • Coordinate UAT planning, execution, defect triage, and issue resolution with DC operations and support teams.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders across Distribution Centers, Supply Chain, Operations, IT, Inventory Control, and Finance.
  • Support release readiness, production deployments, operational cutovers, and post-implementation reviews.
  • Track system performance, defects, enhancement opportunities, and operational pain points to inform the product backlog.

What You Bring
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Product Ownership, Product Management, Business Analysis, Operations Support, or similar roles.
  • Experience supporting warehousing, distribution center, fulfillment, WMS, labor management, automation, or supply chain technology preferred.
  • Proven success working in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery environments.
  • Strong requirements documentation, process mapping, and stakeholder communication skills.
  • Experience working with third-party or vendor-managed applications.
  • Ability to balance system priorities with operational urgency, manage competing needs, and navigate ambiguity.

Nice to Have
  • Bachelor's degree or related experience.
  • Exposure to Agile concepts, even if not used formally.
  • Experience with WMS platforms, DC automation, integrations, reporting tools, or enterprise systems.
