Full Job Description
You Are:

You're the voice of the customer. You own the backlog with clear rationale, lead sprint planning with cross-functional teams, provide leadership on small pieces of work, and begin supporting business casing.

The Work:

PRODUCT CRAFT

  • Partners across business, design, and development, fostering collaboration and communication
  • Manages the product backlog with clear prioritization rationale
  • Establishes user-story definition and acceptance criteria for the product backlog
  • Facilitates trade-off decisions by balancing business need, customer experience, and technical feasibility
  • Plays an active role in agile ceremonies - discovery and framing, cross-platform coordination, stakeholder governance
  • Works to remove obstacles and blockers for the team
  • Supports and where applicable, drives value casing / business-case / KPI development
  • Feature writing and refinement
  • Applies AI to user-story drafting, backlog management, and prioritization; validates outputs

CLIENT AND CONSULTING

  • Clearly articulates ideas, tradeoffs, and recommendations
  • Builds trust through reliability and problem-solving
  • Handles scope, feedback, and delivery with minimal oversight
  • Begins to mentor others on consulting behaviours
  • Uses evidence-based storytelling to align stakeholders and influence product decisions
  • Provides leadership on small pieces of work or initiatives
  • Drives clarity from ambiguous client asks; proposes ways to resolve bottlenecks and improve quality

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

  • Contributes ideas, slides, or examples with guidance
  • Beginning to understand how projects are sold and scoped
  • Limited proactive involvement

TEAM AND TALENT
  • Participates positively in team culture

  • Actively mentors junior teammates
  • Contributes to a supportive, inclusive team environment
  • Gives thoughtful feedback and supports team growth

Here's What You'll Need:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with proven ability to drive and deliver a successful product roadmap in an Agile environment, including facilitating user-story mapping and product workshops
  • Minimum 1 year of experience writing features, epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria in a product development environment
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working with clients to capture experience or technology nuances and enablers and translate them into actionable next steps
  • A minimum of a high school diploma or GED is required for this position
  • Demonstrated use of AI tools in day-to-day product work - user-story drafting, backlog management, prioritization, research synthesis - including the judgment to evaluate and validate AI-generated output rather than accept it at face value
  • English is required for this position as this role will regularly interact with English-speaking stakeholders across Canada. Due to the significant high volume of interactions with these English-speaking stakeholders, which is inherent to this position, it is not possible to reorganize the company's activities to avoid this requirement.
  • Must be eligible for Reliability Security clearance

Bonus Points If:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience
  • Solid understanding of product team roles and responsibilities within a full-scale product team
  • Extensive knowledge of product delivery models from inception to execution
  • Strong analytical, data-driven mindset that keeps the end user at the heart of product creation
