Full Job Description
As the Product Manager, Plans Innovation, you will be responsible for driving price-tiering innovation and new-feature development. As a Product Manager, you will be expected to design, strategize, execute, and prioritize projects. You should be comfortable at the hub of a fast-paced environment where you interface daily with cross-functional experts. You can build consensus and alignment but are not afraid to push ahead when there remain some critics and lead in the face of ambiguity. Location: This role can be based in our Los Gatos office (preferred) in a hybrid working model. This role can also be remote-based from the West Coast (PST timezone). Some travel to Los Gatos will be required if remote-based. As a Product Manager at Netflix, you will: - Build a strategic roadmap and take product concepts from idea through validation, shipping, measurement, and iteration. - Lead a team of stunning colleagues across design, engineering, consumer insights, and data science to deliver outstanding products to our customers. - Build business cases and measure the impact of your product innovation, with your data science partners. - Author strategy memos and presentations, and represent your team's work to senior executives. - Deeply understand and socialize the evolving needs of our customers, with your consumer insights and design partners. As the Product Manager, Plans Innovation, you will be responsible for: - Evolution of the plans offering, with a balance between global scale and local relevance - Exploration, evaluation, development, launch, testing, and iteration of potential new features for plan tiers - Collaborating closely with the pricing team, integrating revenue objectives into plans development Ideal Skills: - Passion for Growth, Product, Pricing, and/or Behavioral Economics! - 7+ years of product management experience with a proven record of prioritizing and successfully launching impactful products or platforms. - Direct experience with growth, plans, monetization in a direct-to-consumer business, preferably with global scope where the consumer is paying for the service. - Ability to inspire, motivate and lead a cross-functional team - your ability to build strong relationships is critical to success. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - especially when writing memos and presenting product ideas to partners across the organization - Comfortable using data to inform priorities and evaluate impact of initiatives - Strong instincts for outstanding customer experience. - Embodies the Netflix real values while also bringing a new perspective to improve our culture. Generally, our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $440,000.00 - $725,000.00. Netflix provides comprehensive benefits including Health Plans, Mental Health support, a 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer match, Stock Option Program, Disability Programs, Health Savings and Flexible Spending Accounts, Family-forming benefits, and Life and Serious Injury Benefits. We also offer paid leave of absence programs. Full-time hourly employees accrue 35 days annually for paid time off to be used for vacation, holidays, and sick paid time off.
