Position Description:

PAR is seeking a highly motivated Product Manager to help drive the strategy, execution, and lifecycle management of our Hardware portfolio. This individual will partner closely with other Product Managers, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, Sales, and Customer Success teams to ensure PAR's hardware solutions remain market-leading, profitable, and aligned with customer needs.

The ideal candidate combines technical aptitude, business acumen, customer empathy, and strong execution capabilities. They will be responsible for managing existing products while helping identify and deliver new hardware innovations across terminals, peripherals, mobility solutions, displays, kiosks, IOT, and emerging hardware technologies.

What We're Looking For:

Requirements:
• 3-7 years of Product Management experience in hardware, technology, retail technology, hospitality technology, or related industries.
• Experience managing products through the full product lifecycle.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Experience building business cases and product requirements.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Ability to travel 5-15%

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with POS systems, restaurant technology, kiosks, mobility solutions, payments hardware, or enterprise hardware products.
• Experience with IOT products
• Knowledge of manufacturing, supply chain, hardware development lifecycles, and quality processes.
• Experience working with ODM/OEM partners.
• Familiarity with financial modeling, pricing strategies, and product P&L management.
• MBA or advanced degree a plus.

Unleash your potential: What you will be doing and owning:

Product Portfolio Management
• Support ownership of PAR's Hardware portfolio throughout the product lifecycle, from concept through end-of-life.
• Develop business cases and recommendations for new hardware products, accessories, and portfolio expansion opportunities.
• Monitor revenue, margin, adoption, quality, and customer satisfaction metrics across assigned products.
• Partner with Finance and Operations to optimize pricing, profitability, inventory, and lifecycle planning.

Product Strategy & Roadmaps
• Contribute to short- and long-term product roadmaps aligned with PAR's hardware growth strategy.
• Evaluate market trends, emerging technologies, customer needs, and competitive offerings.
• Identify opportunities to expand PAR's hardware ecosystem, improve customer experience, and fill portfolio gaps.
• Translate customer and business requirements into prioritized product requirements.

Cross-Functional Leadership
• Serve as the primary liaison between Product Management and key stakeholders across Engineering, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, Sales, and Marketing.
• Drive alignment and execution throughout product development and launch activities.
• Lead cross-functional readiness activities including product launches, product updates, and lifecycle transitions.
• Coordinate with software product teams to ensure optimal hardware/software experiences.

Customer & Market Engagement
• Collect and synthesize customer feedback, field intelligence, and market insights.
• Partner with sales teams on strategic customer opportunities and hardware recommendations.
• Support customer advisory discussions, product demonstrations, and executive briefings.
• Help develop product positioning, messaging, sales enablement materials, and launch content.

Operational Excellence
• Track and manage product KPIs, launch milestones, risks, and dependencies.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on product quality, reliability, and customer satisfaction.
• Support supplier, ODM, and partner engagements as required.
• Maintain product documentation, competitive analyses, and portfolio reporting.
