Full Job Description
We're looking for our next Product Manager, Credit Card. Could It Be You?

As a Product Manager for Credit Cards, you will own discovery and delivery of products & features Questbank customers use to manage their money & investments. Your mandate is to take a customer problem and solve it - then build, ship, and improve it with your engineering, design, and data partners.

This is not a roadmap-administration role or a strategy-deck role. You'll sit at the intersection of customer experience, technology, and business strategy as we collapse the boundaries between investing, banking, and spending into one seamless product. It's ideal for someone who has shipped consumer products at scale, sweats the details of every customer touchpoint, and has a track record of getting real things built in complex environments.

In this role, responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Feature Specification: Owns the end-to-end requirement gathering and definition process for highly complex, interrelated product functionality; strategically navigates technical cross-domain dependencies and descopes features when necessary to optimize sequencing and deliver continuous client value.
  • Making Data-Driven Decisions: You go beyond surface-level metrics to develop a deep understanding of the drivers behind product performance, identifying trends, anomalies, and opportunities that others might miss. You define and evolve the measurement framework for your product area, ensuring success is measured in a way that reflects true user and business impact. You use data to make difficult trade-off decisions and confidently challenge assumptions when the evidence demands it.
  • Technical Acumen: Maintains a solid understanding of technical architecture, system dependencies, and platform integrations within the product domain; works in close partnership with engineering to navigate complex architectural trade-offs and address technical bottlenecks.
  • Product Delivery: Reliably steers product execution, at times for multiple products, from ideation to delivery, setting a predictable release cadence while balancing execution velocity with code quality and long-term architectural stability.
  • Managing Up & Executive Trust: Builds deep cross-functional buy-in and organizational trust by distilling complex product updates into clear, strategic insights for leadership, providing proactive mitigation plans for upcoming risks.
  • Team Leadership & Morale: Cultivates a high-performing squad environment by setting a clear strategic tone, navigating healthy conflict, and actively mentoring cross-functional team members to elevate delivery quality.
  • Ownership Mindset: Demonstrates a relentless focus on whatever outcomes the product and squad need to succeed, championing a strong sense of collective accountability and pride in delivery.
  • Data-Driven Strategy: Establishes and tracks clear domain metrics, synthesizing customer insights, performance data, and competitor trends into tactical roadmap priorities.

So are YOU our next Product Manager, Credit Card? You are if you have...
  • Experience: 5+ years of product management experience, with a track record of shipping consumer-facing digital products at scale - ideally in banking.
  • Demonstrated ownership of a product area end to end: strategy, discovery, delivery, measurement, and iteration.
  • Deep customer obsession: you've built your instincts from real customer conversations, behavioral data, and cohort analysis - not strategy meetings or personal bias.
  • Fluency in data: you can define the right metrics, run and interpret experiments, and know when to trust the numbers and when to lean on principles.
  • Strong communication: you write clearly, present persuasively, and can translate between technical and non-technical audiences, from engineers to executives.
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity: you default to action, form a point of view quickly, and revise it when the evidence says so.
  • Prioritization Mastery: you know how to partner with engineering, design, user research, product marketing to understand technical trade-offs and make smart calls with your team.
  • Ability to integrate AI-powered tools and prompts: into daily operational workflows to analyze datasets, automate routine administrative tasks, and enhance data-driven decision-making.

Additional kudos if you have...
  • Experience at high-growth startups, especially in fintech or other domains requiring complex systems thinking.
  • Experience launching net-new products or entering new markets, especially in regulated industries.
  • Strong opinions about UI/UX - you don't need to be a designer but should know what a category defining experience looks like.
  • Experience with the financial services landscape and its regulatory environment.
  • A portfolio of side projects, prototypes, or things you've built - with or without a mandate.

Compensation Information:
  • Base salary range: $120,000 - $150,000
  • The final compensation package will be commensurate with the successful candidate's experience, skills, and geographic location (Canada). It includes a comprehensive benefits plan and a competitive incentive (bonus) program for Full-Time Permanent roles.
