As a Product Manager, you'll work across Engineering, Operations, and Research to identify the most important problems in the business and turn them into scalable products and systems.
You'll own problems end-to-end - understanding user needs, deciding what should be built, working closely with engineers through execution, and making sure what we ship actually solves the underlying problem.
Responsibilities- Work closely with engineers, operators, and internal users to deeply understand their workflows and pain points
- Identify the highest-leverage product and infrastructure problems across the company
- Turn ambiguous problems into clear product direction and technical requirements
- Partner with Engineering to ship products and systems quickly
- Balance immediate business needs with long-term scalability and maintainability
- Own product areas end-to-end, from problem discovery through launch and iteration
- Use data, user feedback, and business context to prioritize what we build
- Help standardize and improve workflows as AfterQuery scales
Required Qualifications- Strong technical fluency; prior experience in software engineering, ML, or data is a strong plus
- High ownership and ability to operate independently in ambiguous environments
- Strong product judgment and ability to identify the underlying problem behind user requests
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work across technical and operational teams
- Bias toward action and comfort moving quickly with incomplete information
- Strong user empathy and willingness to spend significant time understanding how people actually work
- Ability to synthesize fragmented feedback into clear priorities and product direction
