Product Management - FX Trading & Capital Markets

Position Description:

CGI is seeking a full-time Product Manager to join our FX Trading and Capital Markets product team. You will help drive product strategy and roadmap priorities, working closely with product, engineering, and other cross-functional teams to deliver capabilities aligned with evolving FX and capital markets requirements.

This is a hybrid role requiring attendance at our downtown Toronto office and/or another designated work location a minimum of two days per week. This requirement is subject to change at any time.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

- Be accountable for product features, working with internal and external teams to communicate the product vision and ensure work is focused on delivering maximum value.
- Collaborate with product groups, product architects, and implementation teams to develop and prioritize the backlog of features and user stories.
- Participate in product design sessions to ensure alignment with market and user requirements.
- Drive and deliver on product group P&L requirements, including budget preparation, business management, opportunity financials, profitability, and delivery.
- Develop business architecture direction and facilitate grooming sessions for product features, ensuring requirements are clearly understood by development teams.
- Act as a key point of contact for requirements, domain, and product-related questions.
- Inspire and motivate teams to deliver innovative solutions with an appropriate sense of urgency.
- Act as an ambassador for the product and educate internal and external audiences about product differentiators and benefits.
- Conduct research and analysis to identify and evaluate business challenges, market trends, the competitive landscape, and technological capabilities.
- Collaborate with sales, development, marketing, customer support, and professional services teams to provide thought leadership as a product specialist.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

- 10-15 years of experience with FX trading solutions or service providers, with strong business exposure to a wide range of foreign exchange assets, FX Options, full front-to-back-office transaction processing, and regulatory requirements.
- Strong technical skills with the ability to help drive product roadmap and product direction.
- Experience working in an Agile environment.
- Ability to conduct effective reviews to improve and control the quality of deliverables.
- Ability to communicate effectively in both business and technical terms.
- Ability to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, and decompose high-level information into detailed requirements.
- Ability to mentor and guide teams from a functional perspective.
- Ability to foster a culture of knowledge building and knowledge sharing.
- Strong leadership capabilities.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent listening and interviewing skills.

CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $95,000-$145,000. This role is an existing vacancy.
