OverviewThe Experience Design team at Foot Locker is a global group of designers, researchers, and writers rethinking how customers experience our brand across digital and in-store touchpoints. As a Product Designer working on our digital experiences, you'll shape end-to-end customer journeys across our digital properties—work that delivers business impact and resonates emotionally with sneaker culture.
Responsibilities
- Design industry-leading experiences from concept to execution for high-traffic, high-visibility features that solve customer needs and drive the business forward.
- Partner with multi-disciplinary teams — product, engineering, research — to translate user needs, business requirements, and platform constraints into intuitive, engaging experiences.
- Design cohesive experiences across digital touchpoints, accounting for customer context, platform capabilities, and business needs.
- Follow a user-centered, data-driven design process to conceptualize and iterate on solutions, from sketches to wireframes to interactive prototypes.
- Design within our enterprise design system, and contribute reusable digital components, patterns, and documentation as the system evolves.
- Build accessible experiences by default, applying ADA and WCAG standards throughout your work.
- Collaborate closely with engineering through design-to-code workflows, reviewing builds against design specifications and conducting QA across browsers, devices, and screen sizes.
- Take ownership of assigned work from discovery through release, communicating status and rationale clearly to teammates and stakeholders.
- Participate actively in design critiques, giving and receiving constructive feedback to raise the bar on quality.
