  • Support compliance, business development, customer service, and other internal stakeholders in fielding legal and regulatory questions.
  • Provide legal support for ClarityPay's Compliance and Operational Risk Program.
  • Support commercial contracting efforts with merchants and vendors.

  • Project-manage various key legal and compliance projects.
  • Support or own other legal projects as determined by the Chief Legal & Compliance Officer.

Qualifications:
• JD from a top tier law school and a license to practice in good standing in primary state of residence.

• At least 2 years of law firm experience.
• Deep experience advising clients on consumer financial services matters.
• Contract drafting and negotiation experience.
• Strong legal research skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to learn and leverage new technology quickly and effectively, including hands-on experience leveraging modern AI tools for legal work.

• Prior experience in fintech lending.
• Broad legal experience covering regulatory, transactional, and dispute resolution matters.
• Prior experience performing in-depth legal risk assessments on consumer financial services regulations.
• Experience supporting the compliance function of a consumer lender or lending platform.
• Experience working with regulators to quickly and effectively resolve inquiries, complaints, or information requests.

What We Offer:
