Howden Re is the global reinsurance broker and risk, capital, & strategic advisor focused on relentless innovation & superior analytics for top client service. As we continue to build out our US Facultative business, we are looking for individuals with an entrepreneurial mindset to join us on this ambitious journey of growth. Primary Responsibilities:- To develop new production opportunities and solutions for new and existing clients across North America
- Lead the placement of US Property facultative reinsurance risks with domestic and international reinsurers
- Develop renewal and placement strategies that meet client objectives
- Support, mentor and develop junior broking colleagues
- Establish renewal strategy and execution plans
- Working in tandem with all Howden Re resources to deliver effective client service
- Ensure all activities comply with regulatory and internal governance requirements
Qualifications:- 7+ years of experience in a business-related position & environment
- Desire and interest to pursue an opportunity that is involving client related tasks
- Strong time management skills and project management skills
- Detail oriented
- Highly motivated and committed to continually developing your professional skillset
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
The expected annual salary for this role is $220,000-300,000; actual salary will be determined based on factors including candidate experience and work location. This role is classified as exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
