Procurement Specialist - Digital Supply Chain & Systems (Onsite)
Location: Houston, TX (Onsite)
Position Type: Full-Time
Experience Level: Mid-Level (2-4 Years)
Role Summary
We are seeking a technical, hands-on Procurement Specialist to drive the digital enablement and optimization of our Supply Chain operations. In this role, you will serve as the functional Subject Matter Expert (SME), solution owner, and trusted advisor across our Procure-to-Pay (P2P) technologies-with a primary focus on Coupa, as well as SAP S/4HANA and Ariba.
You will design, configure, test, and deploy scalable digital solutions, process automations, and advanced tools (including Agentic AI) to cultivate efficient, compliant, and data-driven buying behaviors. You will be directly accountable for system administration, data governance, continuous process improvement, and platform adoption across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Platform Administration & Configuration: Serve as the hands-on Coupa SME and functional owner for procurement tech. Design, configure, and maintain platform settings, master data integrity, user access controls, and integrations across Coupa, SAP S/4HANA, and Ariba.
- Process Enablement & Automation: Identify, design, and implement digitization and process-automation opportunities to minimize manual effort, strengthen internal controls, improve user experience, and drive compliance across end-to-end P2P workflows.
- Functional SME & Advisory: Support the full source-to-pay lifecycle-including intake, guided buying, requisitioning, approval matrixes, PO creation, receiving, invoicing, supplier enablement, and audit compliance.
- Data Governance & Analytics: Oversee procurement data literacy, monitoring and interpreting metrics related to spend, supplier performance, platform adoption, and system efficiency.
- Solution Delivery & Continuous Improvement: Lead system testing, documentation, solution deployment, and post-go-live optimizations. Partner across Supply Chain to standardize processes and drive sustainable user adoption.
Qualifications & Skills
Required - Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience: 2-4 years of hands-on experience in procurement technology, process enablement, or supply chain systems administration.
- Core Technical Expertise: Must be a functional Coupa SME (system administration/configuration experience required, not just end-user experience).
- Domain Knowledge: Deep functional understanding of source-to-pay / P2P processes, controls, supplier enablement, and guided buying frameworks.
- Analytical & Business Skills: Proven ability in process mapping, root-cause analysis, solution design, system testing, user documentation, and change enablement.
- Onsite Availability: Ability to work full-time onsite at our Houston, TX location.
Preferred - Certifications:
- Coupa Certification (Platform Admin / Implementation)
- SAP Certification (S/4HANA or Ariba)
- Project Management certification (PMP, Agile, Scrum, or Product Management)
- Experience leveraging emerging technologies (e.g., Agentic AI, workflow automation tools) within supply chain processes.

This position requires daily, full-time onsite presence at our facility in Houston, TX.
