IT Procurement specialist

We are currently seeking a qualified who specializes in IT procurement. This means who has experience in negotiating deals with Salesforce, service now, Microsoft, oracle, VMware and others.

Location:Saint-Laurent, QC
Job Type: Full-Time
Working Arrangement:Hybrid

Responsibilities
  • Serve as a Global Procurement & Strategic Sourcing Management (GPSM) Advisor to internal stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate a strategic business mindset, establish an executive-level presence, and simultaneously balance the interests of multiple stakeholders.
  • Co-authoring and executing category strategies while unlocking potential synergies across categories. Establish/Maintain a multi-year pipeline of opportunities in the relevant categories and functions.
  • Lead the execution, through a collaborative and inclusive approach, of a global technology sourcing strategy for assigned categories that meet the priorities of the company's product and business strategy.
  • Build and maintain complex analytics models to enable data-driven decisions on complex procurement projects
  • Stay up to date on industry trends impacting the technology sourcing strategy through external consulting services, internal resources, and good working relationships with existing and emerging strategic suppliers.
  • Participate in and implement improvement initiatives and coach junior team members.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, law or any other relevant discipline.
  • Minimum At least 7 years of experience in procurement
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize multiple projects
  • Expertise in global IT infrastructure, cloud services, software, telecom, or technology procurement.
  • Strong negotiation and influence skills that can be used to lead teams and build partnerships with internal resources and supplier base.
