VP Context:
The WBG Bdget and Procrement (WBP) is organized into five Departments: WBP Centers of Excellence (WBPCE) with teams spporting the corporate strategic bsiness and bdget planning process, providing WBP systems, knowledge, and shared services; WBP IBRD/IDA Regional nits (WBPR) with teams spporting IBRD/IDA clients in the regions; WBP IFC/MIGA Bdget Partners (CSRDR) with teams spporting IFC/MIGA clients in the HQ and the regions; WBP Corporate nits (WBPC) with teams spporting the Knowledge Bank and corporate nits and providing capital bdget spport; and WBP Corporate Procrement (WBPCP) with teams providing grop-wide procrement services.
nit Context:
Corporate Procrement spports the WBG's mission by delivering procrement services gided by the principles of best vale, sond bsiness jdgment, competitiveness, transparency, and fairness. The fnction oversees sorcing strategies, spplier selection, and contract exection for more than 13 offices worldwide, serving clients throgh teams based in Washington, D.C., Chennai, and Sofia.

The Center of Excellence (COE) serves as the engine for procrement modernization across the World Bank Grop. Operating at the intersection of procrement, technology, analytics, artificial intelligence, innovation, and change management, the COE identifies and implements capabilities that improve effectiveness, enhance stakeholder experience, strengthen decision-making, and accelerate transformational otcomes.
Procrement Analyst (DMO) designs and manages procrement data prodcts, data models, and analytics soltions that enable trsted, self-service insights across Corporate Procrement. Leverages data science and analytics to spport strategic decision-making, strengthens data governance and qality, and partners with procrement, ITS, and bsiness stakeholders to advance data-driven transformation, ser adoption, and continos improvement.
Dties and accontabilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain procrement data models, analytical datasets, and semantic layers that enable scalable, trsted, and self-service analytics across Corporate Procrement.
• Bild and optimize resable data prodcts, performance metrics, reporting frameworks, and dashboard architectres that improve accessibility, consistency, and adoption of procrement insights and data-driven decision making.
• Apply advanced analytical techniqes, data science methodologies, and emerging technologies to identify trends, risks, opportnities, and bsiness insights that spport procrement strategy, spplier management, sstainability, and risk management objectives.
• Spport procrement data governance by establishing and maintaining data standards, qality controls, metadata, bsiness definitions, and data lineage docmentation to ensre accracy, consistency, and compliance with organizational reqirements.
• Partner with procrement teams, ITS, and bsiness stakeholders to translate bsiness reqirements into scalable analytical soltions, while spporting change management, ser engagement, and adoption of data-driven practices across Corporate Procrement.
• Develop practical change management, commnication, and capacity-bilding activities that strengthen data literacy and help sers adopt new data prodcts, tools, and ways of working.
Selection Criteria
• Bachelor's or master's degree + years of relevant experience in Data Science, Analytics, Compter Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related.
• Experience designing analytical data models, semantic layers, and self-service analytics environments.
• Strong nderstanding of data architectre, data governance, and information management principles.
• Experience working with modern BI and analytics platforms sch as Power BI, Fabric, Tablea, or similar technologies.
• Experience sing SQL, Python, DAX, Power Qery, or comparable analytical tools.
• Experience developing predictive, statistical, or advanced analytical models is desirable.
• Experience working with large and complex datasets and translating bsiness reqirements into analytical soltions.
• Experience spporting stakeholder engagement, change management, training, or capacity bilding for data, analytics, or technology initiatives is desirable.
