BS in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Metallurgical, Industrial or related)
Minimum 3 years' experience in a manufacturing environment
Strong knowledge of process improvement methodologies
Experience with capital project management
Familiarity with standard operating procedure development
Responsibilities
Develop and execute continuous improvement plans for manufacturing processes
Provide technical support to operations and maintenance, focusing on troubleshooting
Identify and implement effective process controls
Maintain product quality standards and enhance yield and performance
Investigate and integrate new manufacturing technologies, overseeing related projects
Create and update Standard Operating Procedures and process documentation
Serve as a key technical resource for customers and suppliers
Full Job Description
The Process Engineer uses engineering principles and techniques to maintain and improve the plant manufacturing process. The Process Engineer is continuous improvement focused on process quality and cost.
You Will Have the Opportunity to:
Develop & execute continuous improvement plans for the manufacturing process
Provide technical process support to the operations and maintenance groups including problem solving & troubleshooting.
Identify & implement process controls.
Maintain product standards and lead continuous improvement process to improve yield & performance.
Investigate, develop, & implement manufacturing technologies including managing capital projects.
Develop & maintain Standard Operating Procedures and other process documentation.
Interact with customers & suppliers as the key process technical resource
Education / Experience:
BS in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Metallurgical, Industrial or related)
