Full Job Description
Job Summary
LP Analyst is seeking an Investor Services Lead to join our Private Equity Data Operations team. In this role, you will serve as the subject matter expert for our investor services function, acting as the primary point of accountability for client deliverable quality, SLA compliance, and operational consistency across the team.

You will not carry direct people management responsibilities, but you will play a central role in how the team operates: answering questions from analysts, training new and existing team members, representing the service in client conversations, and ensuring that every deliverable meets the standard our clients expect. You will also play a key role in how our investor services workflows evolve as we integrate AI and automation into our processes, helping ensure quality and continuity through that transition.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for investor services, including capital calls, distributions, capital account statements, and related transaction activity
  • Own SLA oversight for investor services deliverables by monitoring completion status, identifying at-risk items, and driving resolution before deadlines are missed
  • Act as the first escalation point for analysts with questions on processing, data validation, or client-specific requirements
  • Train new analysts on investor services workflows, data standards, and client expectations; develop and maintain training materials and process documentation
  • Engage directly with clients to address questions, resolve discrepancies, and provide updates on deliverable status
  • Partner with Client Service team members to ensure data is accurate and ready for reporting cycles
  • Own process integrity as workflows evolve, identifying gaps or quality issues as automation takes on more of the execution and ensuring standards are maintained through the transition
  • Serve as a key voice in how analyst responsibilities shift as AI handles more routine work, helping the team adapt without sacrificing accuracy or client experience
  • Identify patterns in data issues or SLA risk and recommend process improvements to increase speed, accuracy, and consistency
  • Collaborate with management on capacity planning, quality reviews, and service delivery feedback

Qualifications & Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, business, or related field
  • 4+ years of experience in investment operations, fund accounting, or private markets data operations (direct experience with capital call, distribution, and capital account processing strongly preferred)
  • Deep understanding of private equity and venture capital fund structures, capital call and distribution mechanics, and LP reporting
  • Demonstrated ability to explain complex processes clearly, whether training a new analyst or responding to a client question
  • Comfortable navigating change and ambiguity, particularly as it relates to evolving workflows and the role of automation in day-to-day operations
  • Strong SLA awareness and a track record of meeting tight deadlines with high accuracy
  • Comfortable operating independently and making judgment calls without needing day-to-day managerial direction
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with fund administration or data management platforms a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience in client-facing interactions
Why LP Analyst?
  • Comprehensive onboarding and training programs, including a structured Private Asset Training Program and regular business/industry teach-ins
  • Early opportunities for advancement for top-performing analysts
  • Opportunity to build valuable professional skills early in your career, including communication, organization, and leadership, by working on a dynamic and growing team with cross-functional exposure
  • Exposure to a wide range of strategies (private equity, venture capital, real estate, infrastructure, credit), with the opportunity to specialize in areas of interest
  • High-impact role providing transparency to the world's leading institutional investors
  • Collaborative, high-performing team culture with smart, supportive colleagues
  • Company-sponsored 401(k) plan, healthcare, and dental insurance
  • Competitive compensation and fully paid parental leave
  • Generous paid time off that increases with tenure, plus an annual volunteer day
  • Casual dress code, frequent team events, and a downtown Dallas office with paid parking, free snacks, and other perks
