- Equity-heavy compensation discussions
- Relocation, timing, and family considerations
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with senior technical and leadership talent, including passive candidates
- Design interview processes that are rigorous but efficient
- Translate complex technical, organizational, and business context into compelling narratives for candidates
- Provide real-time market insight and honest feedback to leadership throughout the hiring process
- Uphold discretion, professionalism, and strong judgment in all candidate interactions
Qualifications: - 8+ years of recruiting experience, including senior-level or executive hiring
- Experience in deep tech, hardware, infrastructure, or highly technical environments
- Proven ability to close senior candidates in competitive markets without agency support
- Exceptional judgment, emotional intelligence, and executive presence
- Comfortable operating with ambiguity in an early-stage environment
- High attention to detail, confidentiality, and candidate care
- Clear communicator who can translate complex technical and business contexts to candidates
Bonus Qualifications: - In-house experience at Series A-C startups
- Experience recruiting in niche or emerging technical domains
- Comfort influencing leveling, scope, and compensation strategy
