Full Job Description
SUMMARY: This role is part of the Business Analysis department and manages coordination of Nintendo of America's (NOA) revenue strategies and plans for hardware systems, software titles, digital content, digital services, accessories, etc. Also manages and aligns cross-functional planning & execution to deliver business results. Analyzes cross-functional strategy effectiveness and recommends and organizes rapid optimization actions. DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES Develops data-backed recommendations and business cases by evaluating consumer demand, financial outcomes, channel dynamics, operational requirements, and potential risks and tradeoffs. Develop and manage strong relationships with internal business functions (Retail, Finance, DTC, Marketing, Communications, etc.) to coordinate solutions to leadership business objectives Prepares executive-level recommendations, presentations, and decision materials that clearly communicate strategic options, supporting evidence, organizational implications, risks, and recommended actions. Establishes performance measures and leads post-implementation reviews to evaluate business impact, identify key learnings, and continuously improve future revenue strategies and decision-making processes. Serves as a subject matter expert and strategic advisor to leadership on revenue growth opportunities, including promotional strategy, bundle strategy, product lifecycle management, and evolving consumer purchase behaviors. Creates financial and scenario analysis to assess pricing, promotional investment, product configuration, channel mix, profitability, consumer adoption, and other potential business outcomes. Capable of independently pulling data from various sources including from SQL databases & syndicated research SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS Minimum of seven (7) years of experience with business analysis. Must have excellent analytical skills and ability to read autonomously and efficiently, sanity check and analyze data and deliver actionable recommendations. Minimum of five (5) years of experience with analytics tools (VS Code, Copilot a plus) Minimum of five (5) years of experience with advanced functionalities of Excel. Must be proficient with analytic functions such as pivot tables, formulas and statistical inference. Macros a plus. Experience in working with Data visualization tools such as Tableau, building interactive reports, complex dashboards for different audiences, creating calculated KPIs or metrics by writing complex formulas. Demonstrated understanding of data warehousing solutions to facilitate analytics capabilities. Must be able to quickly learn new analytical tools and database infrastructure. Strong written and verbal communication skills to articulate and present findings to others and translate analytical findings into easily understandable, actionable insights. Bachelor's degree in mathematics, computer science, statistics or another quantitative field preferred. Advanced degree a plus. Applicants must be legally eligible to work in the United States to be considered. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role. This position is hybrid in Redmond, WA. Hybrid positions require regular onsite work following the schedule and guidelines for their division. This position is not open to fully remote status at this time. This position includes the base pay range listed below, potential for a semi-annual discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off. Pay Range: $145,150-$261,200 USD
