Full Job Description
As a Principal Product Manager, Technical for PQ Seller Experience, you will own how selling partners experience product quality policy and enforcement across Amazon. You will define the unified seller experience that sits above any single program vertical, establishing the common language, evidence standard, and remediation paths. You will own the vision for the end to end seller journey across enforcement, appeals, and reinstatement, and you will set the standards that make every quality decision explainable, consistent, and resolvable in the seller's own workflow. This is a highly ambiguous, high impact charter that requires clarity, problem framing, and building the frameworks and tenets that enable organizational action.

This charter requires a deep understanding of selling partner experience. You will drive alignment across partner teams, policy owners, and enforcement teams that each own a piece of the seller journey, holding a single, consistent product direction spanning multiple organizations. Working alongside Principal Engineers, you will own the technical direction for how policy is encoded once and served consistently to both the systems that enforce it and the surfaces that explain it to sellers. This is the connective product leadership that delivers a seamless experience for our selling partners.

Key job responsibilities

- Own the 3 to 5 year product vision and roadmap for the product quality seller experience, and where opportunity and strategy are undefined, drive clarity and create the frameworks and tenets that enable organizational action.

- Own the selling partner experience across all PQ enforcements as one coherent surface, developing recognized expertise through direct engagement with senior decision makers, and define a unified seller journey so that the right decision reaches the right seller with clarity, consistency, and a resolvable path.

- Own the explainability and communication standard for product quality as an organizational standard, establishing the structured evidence contract and quality bar every enforcement decision must meet, and replacing static templated communications with policy grounded, context aware messaging delivered to selling partners.

- Drive alignment across the multiple partner organizations that author, enforce, and communicate quality policy at the senior leadership level, integrating their policies and systems onto a common knowledge layer and a single seller experience, and serving as the senior product voice for the seller experience across those organizations.

- Author strategic narratives, including PR/FAQs, vision documents, and investment proposals, own the executive review mechanisms such as MBRs and QBRs that measure progress against seller trust, contact reduction, and quality outcomes, and define the success criteria that distinguish output, outcome, and guardrail metrics for the seller experience.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree

- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

- Experience technical product management

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements

- Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement
