Principal Product Managers are expected to lead product initiatives from ideation, story creation, delivery, launch and iteration, balancing customer needs, technical feasibility, and time to impact. They work closely with engineering, design, operations, and other stakeholders, to understand the business processes, underlying technologies and business objectives in order to build products that are intuitive, scalable, and aligned with company goals. This role requires a strong mix of strategic thinking, user empathy, technical fluency, and excellence.

• Write Clear Requirements: Translate business and user needs into detailed product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for engineering teams.
• Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and support to ensure successful product development and launch.
• Delivery & Communications: Own the delivery of the features / initiative on the roadmap, escalating issues and blockers that arise during development, driving updates and expectations management with stakeholders and participating / leading the ceremonies as part of our product development life cycle.
• Monitor Performance Metrics: Track impact / ROI by defining KPIs to evaluate product success and inform future decisions.
• Partner on Go-to-Market Strategy: Work with marketing and sales to develop launch plans that resonate with target users and drive adoption.
• Manage Product Lifecycle: Oversee products from ideation through development, launch, growth, and eventual sunset if needed.
• Champion the User Experience: Advocate for intuitive, delightful, and accessible product experiences by partnering with user experience, conducting user research & surveys and driving rapid prototyping feedback sessions with the people using your products.
• Adapt and Iterate: Continuously refine products based on feedback, performance data, and market trends to stay competitive.
• Leadership: You may also lead or partner with other Product Managers if the scope of the role and/or product area warrant it.
