Full Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include performing analysis and design for environmental engineering structures, industrial buildings, and administration buildings.
Perform structural analysis and design for water and wastewater treatment facility projects.
Manage and coordinate the structural portions of small to intermediate projects as well as portions of larger projects under senior leadership.
Applicant will be responsible for supervision, mentoring and coordination of a small group of younger engineering staff as needed for each project assignment.
Qualifications:
Qualified candidate should have an interest in providing structural design for multiple structure types including Industrial Buildings, Pump Stations, Process Basins, and Treatment Facilities.
Applicant will be expected to have and/or acquire experience in the analysis and design of steel, reinforced concrete, reinforced masonry, and aluminum structural systems in addition to gaining familiarity with the building codes and structural analysis of Environmental Structures.
Must also have good communication skills and the ability to successfully work in a multi-discipline team environment.
Educational / License Requirements:
Applicants must have a BS or MS degree in Civil Engineering with a Structural Concentration from an ABET accredited institution.
Applicants must have a minimum of 5 years of applicable structural engineering experience and be a currently registered Professional Engineer capable of acquiring or currently having a South Carolina license.
