Principal Application Engineer to join a Life Insurance company located in
Frederick, MD with a Hybrid work schedule. The
Principal Application Engineer will be focused on building modern, digital platforms.
Responsibilities of the Principal Application Engineer: - Help design and build a leading digital life insurance platform
- Design scalable, reliable, and cost-effective solutions while setting engineering standards and mentoring other engineers
- Design and build full-stack web applications and distributed microservices (front-end and back-end)
- Research emerging technologies and present recommendations to architects and leadership to Ensure solutions meet security, compliance, and SDLC standards
Qualifications for the Principal Application Engineer include: - 10+ years of backend software design and development
- 3+ years designing and implementing distributed systems
- Strong experience with DevOps and maintaining live production services Cloud experience required
- Expert-level C#, .NET Core, and .NET Framework
Compensation for the Principal Application Engineer include: - Salary Range: $140,000 - $190,000 Based on Experience
- 20% bonus
