Role: Technical Writer
Location: Remote (Must be available to work EST hours)
Position Overview:
The Technical Writer will provide expertise related to quality control and quality assurance review and provide technical security documentation. Specifically, looking for someone that is familiar with system security assessments or the NIST SP 800-53 controls, with a strong background in technical writing in the cybersecurity space. Additionally, the technical writer will execute data entry into databases and applications, develops and maintains complex schedules and project
plans and generate relevant reports, technical writing support to analyze existing Agency policy and assist in the development of technical security policies, processes, plans.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Provide expertise related to quality control and quality assurance review and provide technical security documentation.
Execute data entry into databases and applications, develops and maintains complex schedules and project plans and generate relevant reports, technical writing support to analyze existing Agency policy and assist in the development of technical security policies, processes, plans.
Plan, write, edit and revise technical information and documents, including user manuals, general overviews, configuration/installation instructions, tutorials, test plans, and product specifications.
Collaborate with the team of technical writers, and facilitate product and software development teams.
Qualifications:
