We are looking for you to join our team as an Analog Design Engineer based out of Woodland Hills, CA. As a Analog Design Engineer at Northrop Grumman you will have a challenging and rewarding opportunity to be a part of our Enterprise-wide digital transformation. What You'll Get to Do:

Under minimum supervision, perform analog circuit design and analysis to support development of new product. Design tasks include system level requirements analysis, subsystem level requirements development, conceptual design, preliminary design, and detailed design through design verification and characterization. Analysis tasks include circuit modeling, simulation and analysis as well as signal and power integrity analyses on PCB design.

This position is contingent upon the successful transfer of an active US Government Secret Clearance.

Basic Qualifications for a Principal Analog Design Engineer:
  • Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience, a Master's degree with 3 years of experience or a Ph.D. with 0 years of experience in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or related technical fields- Prior experience in Analog circuit design, modeling, and simulation
  • U.S. Citizenship is required
  • Ability to obtain or maintain and US Government Secret Security Clearance
  • Experience in Analog circuit design, modeling, and simulation
  • Experience with schematic capture in Mentor Xpedition, Cadence, or Altium Designer
  • Experience with circuit and sub-system test and troubleshooting
  • Ability to work onsite full-time in Woodland Hills, CA


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Printed Circuit Board design using Mentor Xpedition Designer and AMS
  • Experience with HyperLynx Signal and Power Integrity analyses
  • PSpice circuit design analyses
  • Experience Design verification and test
  • MSEE with emphasis in Analog Circuit Design

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

Primary Level Salary Range: $114,000.00 - $171,000.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
