Full Job Description
The Principal Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (Team Lead) is responsible for keeping inventory of supplies, managing/troubleshooting/repairing equipment, contacting Facilities, Housekeeping, IT or Clinical Engineering for issues, conducting and monitoring sleep studies, acting as a team lead or resource for the sleep technologists, assisting the team when ratio is 2:1 patient/tech, setting up equipment and patients, training, and scoring tests. The incumbent must be able to work independently, and foster a sense of professionalism and strong work ethic for the team. The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. This position's work schedule is a four-day, nine-hour evening shift schedule. Workdays may be assigned as Tuesday-Friday, Sunday-Wednesday, or Monday-Thursday.
