Job Summary

Leonardo DRS Land Systems is seeking a full time Pricing Manager. This position is based out of our Bridgeton, MO facility and will have the option to work an in person or hybrid schedule. The Pricing Manager will lead cost estimating and pricing function for DRS Land Systems using ProPricer in a Deltek Costpoint environment. This is a hands-on production role, not a purely supervisory position. This position overlaps with the incumbent manager to ensure continuity of program pricing knowledge and customer relationships.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead pricing team of six-FTE executing all cost and price proposals.
  • Manage day-to-day activities, including the development, evaluation, and implementation of pricing strategies, cost models, and estimating methodologies across the full proposal pipeline.
  • Ensure all pricing complies with applicable regulations, policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Provide analysis, recommendations, and strategies to cross-functional management to improve margin and support price-to win.
  • Direct fact-finding responses and updated pricing positions through negotiation to settlement. Support cost/price positions during negotiations
  • Oversee cost volume development and production of certified cost or pricing data packages in accordance with FAR Table 15-2 requirements.
  • Personally execute cost volume development on major pursuits directing analyst production work while owning proposal pricing, schedule, and quality.
  • Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization.
  • Maintain current knowledge of relevant regulations, laws and best practices.


Qualifications

  • Previous lead or supervisory experience, required.
  • Advanced knowledge of the practical applicable of regulations and estimating best practices
  • Advanced knowledge of the FAR, DFAR & CAS
  • Advanced knowledge of all types of contracts (T&M, CPAF, CPIF, CPFF, FFP) and cost/price analysis
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint

The salary range for this position is $116,881.00/year- $157,659.00/year for the state of Illinois. This range reflects the good faith estimate of pay the employer is willing to offer at the time of posting. Several factors can influence the pay scale, including but not limited to: Federal contract labor categories and contract wage rates, collective bargaining agreements, geographic location, business considerations, scope, and responsibilities of the position, local or other applicable market conditions, and internal equity. Other factors include the candidate's qualifications such as prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education/training, and certifications. In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for: annual performance-based bonuses, equity awards, and overtime pay (for non-exempt employees as applicable.
