Position Overview:As a FT PreOp RN, you will play a critical role in preparing patients for surgery by conducting thorough assessments, ensuring patient comfort, and delivering exceptional preoperative care.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct preoperative assessments, including reviewing patient medical histories, medication and current health status.
- Educate patients and families about the surgical process, ensuring they are informed and at ease.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to maintain a seamless and efficient workflow.
- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to delivering patient-focused care.
Qualifications- Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing
- Active RN license in the state
- BLS and ACLS Required, PALS if required by the center
- 2 years of experience in PACU or Critical Care preferred
- Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment
- Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet the needs of patients and the unit
- Strong communication skills, verbal and written

Pay Range: $38.03/hour - $57.05/hour(Wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual's qualifications and experience.)#USP-RN
