You will create detailed wiring diagrams, cabinet layout drawings, and schematics, ensuring compliance with Siemens Energy design rules and quality standards. How You'll Make an Impact - You will design and develop control panels for large power transformers, ensuring they meet industry standards.
- Create wiring diagrams, cabinet layout drawings, and schematics for customer approval and production.
- Order materials and components such as wires, terminal blocks, and monitoring instruments to support your designs.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot control panel issues and provide technical support to field service teams.
- Manage projects effectively, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation, while communicating with customers and internal stakeholders.
What You Bring - A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in control panel and wiring design for medium or large power transformers is preferred.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD & Eplan or similar control wiring design software.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
