What You Will Do:
We are seeking a Power Platform Developer to design and build Power Apps and manage SharePoint sites for federal Department of War client. This role is responsible for designing and building custom Power Apps (primarily Canvas) and Power Automate flows that automate business processes and support the design of SharePoint sites for multiple teams. The ideal candidate has strong business acumen and client relationship skills, along with technical skills.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Design, build, and deploy enterprise-grade Power Apps solutions that integrate with secure data sources and automate mission-support workflows
Develop scalable Power Automate flows aligned with complex data pipelines
Connect Canvas Apps to Dataverse, SharePoint, and third-party data sources via connectors and custom APIs
Create reusable components, connectors, and templates to streamline development efforts
Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications
Implement best practices for app performance, security, governance, and maintainability
Support existing Power Platform solutions by troubleshooting issues and implementing enhancements.
Implement RBAC, row-level security, and table permissions
Modernize manual, email-based, and document-driven front office processes through targeted automation
Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily standups, milestone reviews, and retrospectives within an agile delivery cadence
Collaborate with Business Systems Analysts to translate business requirements and current-state process documentation into sprint-ready development tasks
Ensure all solutions operate within the DoW's approved technology environment, minimizing security, accreditation, and sustainment risk
What You Will Need:
An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED SECRET Federal or DoD security clearance
Bachelor's Degree
SIX (6) or more years' experience in a federal, DoW, consulting, or similar professional environment
THREE (3) or more years' delivering Power Apps solutions
Hands-on experience building Canvas Apps, Model Driven Apps, and Power Automate workflows end-to-end, including intake, routing, approval, and notification patterns
Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
Strong PowerFx skills and experience
Experience configuring SharePoint as a structured document repository, including metadata, libraries, and permissions
Ability to build polished, production-ready UI/UX for non-technical executives and front office users
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or collaboratively
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work effectively within an agile sprint model, including participation in planning, reviews, and iterative delivery
Ability to collaborate directly with stakeholders, including requirements gathering, demos, and milestone reviews
What Would Be Nice To Have:
Prior federal or DOW environment experience
Power BI dashboard development and integration experience with Power Platform data sources
Familiarity with Microsoft 365 G5 licensing and available capabilities
Azure infrastructure or architecture knowledge
Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) and environment management
Azure DevOps and Git source control
API and third-party integration experience
