Lead Others, Care for Patients, Make a Difference - NNP Supervisor in Tucson, AZ

Banner University Medical Group is seeking an experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner Supervisor who will join the Division of Neonatology at the University Medical Center Tucson Campus. The NNP Supervisor will work in an academic setting to provide coverage for our Level IV NICU, work closely with neonatologists to provide patient care, provide direction and education for residents, and work to deliver optimal patient outcomes.

As a Nurse Practitioner Supervisor, this position provides clinical support on the resident/attending/NNP team and NNP/attending teams in a 38 bed unit; attends all high-risk deliveries, will teach/assist/perform procedures including intubations, chest tubes, arterial lines, PICCs, ventilator management, and participate as an NRP instructor. This supervisor will also consult with high risk mothers in labor and delivery and collaborate with physicians and other clinicians in a team approach to patient care.

In addition to clinical responsibilities, the NNP supervisor will oversee the NNP team. The supervisor will be responsible for scheduling and performance evaluations, providing regular updates to team, participating in procedure/protocol development and rollout implementation in partnership with the Medical Director and other leaders.

Required Qualifications:
• Neonatal Nurse Practitioner with 3 years of supervisory experience

• Current NPR Certification
