Full Job Description
The Portfolio & Market Intelligence Analyst supports the cross-market data and analysis that the Client & Growth Lead of America and Regional Managers use to grow multi-market client relationships across the Property Management platform. This early-career individual-contributor role (P1/P2) combines portfolio tracking, market research, and underwriting analysis for office, industrial, retail, and multifamily assets with the administrative work that keeps the team on schedule. The analyst works under senior direction, runs assigned tasks independently, and takes on more ownership over time.
Key Responsibilities
• Maintain data on where clients own assets across markets, plus benchmarking data for every market a flagship client touches
• Build and maintain underwriting models for office, industrial, retail, and multifamily assets (NOI, cash flow, returns) to size opportunities and support portfolio conversations
• Research market conditions by market and asset class, drawing on JLL Research and other approved sources, and contribute to competitive analysis on the Property Management platform
• Build spend and utilization analysis and prepare reports in the standard format so Regional Managers can hand them to clients
• Support quarterly and annual revenue forecasting with accurate pipeline data, and keep Salesforce records current
• Handle team administration: schedule portfolio reviews, prepare agendas, take meeting notes, track action items, and keep shared files and templates organized and on brand
• Serve as first point of contact for routine data requests from Regional Managers, escalating anything beyond scope
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, real estate, economics, data analytics, or a related field
• Two to three years of experience in data analytics, real estate underwriting, market research, or asset management
• Hands-on underwriting experience, deep financial acumen, and a solid grasp of the commercial real estate (CRE) investment life cycle across the four major asset classes: office, industrial, retail, and multifamily
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills, plus working knowledge of a BI tool (e.g., Power BI, Power Apps)
• Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail; comfortable handling administrative tasks
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with ARGUS Enterprise, CoStar, or comparable tools; progress toward a designation such as CFA or CCIM
• Familiarity with Property Management outsourcing, Salesforce CRM reporting, and multi-market account structures
