Full Job Description
Position Overview:

ANSER is seeking a Policy Analyst and Staff Action Officer to support the Department of War (DoW) Chief Information Officer (CIO). In this role, you will develop and maintain organizational policies and governance documentation, support executive task management and organizational priorities, and manage SharePoint resources for records and knowledge management. You will also coordinate stakeholder engagements and support strategic forums to promote policy compliance and alignment with organizational priorities.

Day to Day Responsibilities:
  • Support the implementation and continuous improvement of administrative and project management processes to promote compliant and efficient organizational operations.
  • Manage organizational calendars, priorities, and task flow to support leadership decision-making and strategic priorities.
  • Develop, assess, implement, and maintain organizational policies, procedures, standards, and governance documentation.
  • Evaluate existing policies and recommend improvements to enhance organizational effectiveness and mission execution.
  • Administer SharePoint collaboration sites to support policy documentation, records management, and organizational knowledge sharing.
  • Coordinate meetings, working groups, and stakeholder engagements supporting policy and strategic initiatives.
  • Maintain personnel documentation and records to support organizational compliance.
  • Participate in organizational meetings, workforce forums, and strategic planning sessions to identify and address evolving policy and regulatory requirements.
  • Use CATMS or similar task management systems to track, coordinate, and close organizational actions.

Required Qualifications:
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance.
  • 12+ years of experience in policy analysis, governance, organizational management, project management, or a related field.
  • Master's degree in Information Technology, Government, Public Policy, Business Administration, National Security Affairs, or a related field. Will accept an additional two years of related experience in lieu of master's degree.
  • Experience developing, assessing, and improving organizational policies, procedures, and governance documentation.
  • Experience supporting policy development, administrative processes, or project management within a government or defense-related environment.
  • Experience using SharePoint for records management, document control, or organizational knowledge sharing.
  • Recent experience using CATMS or a similar task management system.
  • Experience coordinating meetings, working groups, and stakeholder engagements across multiple organizations.
  • Experience preparing policy documentation, reports, briefings, or other executive-level materials.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience supporting C3 operations, policy, or governance forums.
  • Prior experience supporting an Office of the Secretary of War (OSW)-level organization.
  • Familiarity with Department of War or federal government organizational structures and processes.
