Position Summary:The Podiatrist will provide diagnosis, treatment, and preventive care for foot and ankle conditions. This role includes outpatient clinical care, minor procedures, patient education, and collaboration with primary care and specialty providers to ensure holistic treatment plans.
Key Responsibilities:- Diagnose and treat foot, ankle, and lower leg conditions.
- Perform minor surgical procedures and wound care.
- Prescribe medications, orthotics, and physical therapy as needed.
- Educate patients on foot care and preventive practices.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records in the EMR system.
Qualifications:- Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree from an accredited program.
- Board certification or eligibility in Podiatric Medicine.
- Valid state license to practice podiatry.
- Experience in an outpatient or FQHC setting preferred.
- Strong communication and patient-centered care skills.
