Full Job Description
Environmental Project Director

Littleton, CO | Office and Field | $95,000 to $140,000 annually

This is a closer's seat. You generate the estimate, win the client, and own the project from the first site walk to the last dollar collected. You will be trusted to go bring in work, build relationships that will pay off for years, and protect the margin on everything you touch.

If you would rather own the number than wait for permission, keep reading.

What You Will Own
Bring in the work. Generate and manage technical estimates on company leads and your own referral network, and beat the sales and profitability targets Spyder sets.
Win on site. Walk potential projects, scope the repair, and turn a single inspection into a client who keeps calling.
Be the face of Spyder. Own the client relationship from kickoff through closeout. Keep your weekly commitments. Make every interaction the reason they hire us again.
Run the deal. Prepare and present sharp, professional proposals fast. Negotiate change orders with owners, architects, and clients. Keep the budget and the financial projections honest.
Lead the room. Host project kickoffs, internal pre-construction meetings, and OAC meetings. Get the production team aligned on scope, budget, and schedule before anyone picks up a tool.
Step up when it gets hard. Be the escalation point project managers count on, resolve scope disputes and client issues, and help PMs grow.

The Details Come With the Seat

Owning a project means owning the mechanics too. You will submit RFIs and detailed monthly pay applications, partner with accounting to collect down payments and chase receivables, build complete job folders, and attend project walks through demo, rough, punch, and final. The autonomy is real, and so is the accountability.

What You Bring

The way you are wired:
You sell naturally. You build trust fast and people want to do business with you.
You move fast and think big. Variety energizes you. Routine bores you.
You are competitive. Hitting the target is satisfying. Beating it is the point.
You are self-directed. You do not need to be managed to deliver, and you own the outcome either way.

Required:
Active Colorado Asbestos Supervisor license
Active Colorado Methamphetamine Supervisor license
7+ years estimating and managing abatement projects in Colorado
Valid Colorado driver's license and a record that meets Spyder requirements

Preferred:
Water and fire damage mitigation experience
Equipment Operator Certifications
4-year degree, preferably in Construction, Project Management, or a related field

Compensation and Benefits
Salary range: $95,000 to $140,000 annually, plus performance bonuses
Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance
Company-Paid Life Insurance
401(k) with 4% Company Match
Paid Time Off and Sick Leave
Optional Accident and Critical Illness Insurance
Employee Assistance Program

Work Environment
This role lives in both the office and the field. You will not be stuck at a desk.
Must be able to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and work in varying weather while using full PPE as required per project.
Regular travel between job sites.
Reports to the Environmental Department Manager. No direct reports; you lead through influence.
