CBRE is seeking a PM Engineering Ops Manager to oversee engineering and facilities operations across approximately six Class A office locations throughout Texas, supporting a high-profile client in the Financial & Professional Services (FPS) sector. This role is based onsite at the client's downtown Dallas office and serves as a key liaison between the client, landlords, engineering teams, and service vendors to ensure exceptional operational performance across the portfolio.
As a leader within CBRE's Engineering and Technical Services function, you will support the team responsible for delivering technical operations, maintenance planning, and engineering services that keep critical building systems performing at their highest level. You will help drive maintenance strategies, operational excellence, and continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring a safe, reliable, and productive workplace environment.
In this role, you'll partner closely with client stakeholders, landlord representatives, building engineers, and third-party vendors to oversee preventive maintenance programs, resolve operational challenges, and ensure the reliability of critical infrastructure systems.
Working collaboratively across teams, you'll help optimize processes, enhance service delivery, and ensure engineering operations align with business objectives across the portfolio. What You'll Do: - Set, monitor, and manage individual and team performance goals, project milestones, and departmental deadlines to ensure operational excellence and service delivery commitments are met.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, business partners, vendors, and key stakeholders, serving as a trusted advisor and escalation point for operational matters.
- Manage departmental or business unit financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, expense management, and profit and loss (P&L) accountability.
- Develop and implement strategic goals, initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts that support operational objectives and enhance service delivery.
- Partner with leadership to drive the execution of company programs, policies, and initiatives while ensuring alignment with organizational goals and client expectations.
- Evaluate operational processes, procedures, and workflows to identify opportunities for increased efficiency, improved performance, and risk mitigation.
- Ensure business operations are executed in accordance with established policies, procedures, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
- Maintain oversight of regulatory documentation, compliance records, audits, and reporting requirements to support a safe and compliant operating environment.

What You'll Need: - Bachelor's degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience in facilities management, engineering operations, or a related field. An equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered.
- Demonstrated leadership experience, including hiring, onboarding, training, coaching, mentoring, performance management, employee development, and retention of high-performing teams.
- Strong ability to communicate and navigate sensitive, complex, or challenging situations with professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment.
- Proven ability to establish clear performance expectations, provide constructive feedback, resolve conflicts, and effectively address employee and operational issues.

- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and related business applications.

- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with the capacity to evaluate complex situations and implement effective solutions.
- Advanced analytical and financial acumen, including experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and performance metrics.
- Advanced mathematical skills, including the ability to perform calculations involving percentages, ratios, budget analyses, financial projections, and other business-related metrics.
- Ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively with clients, stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals and drive successful outcomes.
