Plumbing Sales Representative
The Role
As a Plumbing Sales Representative, you will diagnose plumbing, sewer, and drain issues in customers' homes and present customized repair and replacement solutions. You will serve as a trusted advisor, guiding customers through their options and helping them make informed decisions that best meet their needs.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate residential plumbing, sewer, and drain systems and identify repair or replacement opportunities
- Develop and present detailed repair estimates and solutions to homeowners
- Execute the sales process from initial consultation through project approval
- Create job proposals that align with company pricing and profitability goals
- Educate customers on repair options, system recommendations, and financing programs
- Prepare thorough scopes of work and supporting documentation for seamless handoff to installation teams
- Maintain communication with customers throughout the project lifecycle to ensure a positive experience
- Follow up with customers to ensure complete satisfaction upon project completion
- Participate in ongoing sales and product training opportunities
- Share best practices and contribute to the success of the overall plumbing sales team
- Maintain accurate records and documentation within company systems
What You Will Bring
- 3+ years of plumbing sales experience
- Strong knowledge of residential plumbing, sewer, and drain systems
- Proven ability to build rapport and close sales
- Excellent customer service, communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to explain technical information to homeowners in a clear and professional manner
- Experience discussing financing options with customers preferred
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills
- Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
Reporting Structure
Reports directly to the Plumbing Manager.
