Capgemini is hiring PLM Developers across junior, intermediate and senior bands to build Teamcenter customizations, extensions and integrations on a large, complex PLM modernization for a major Aerospace & Defense OEM, within a blended onshore-offshore team and an AI-Powered software factory.
Your role: We are hiring against the experience matrix below; senior developers own complex extensions, build agent-ready services and mentor, while junior developers build to design under guidance.
- TEAMCENTER EXPERTISE - CORE: Development is on the Siemens Teamcenter platform. Hands-on Teamcenter customization (ITK, SOA, Active Workspace) is the core skill; depth scales with band, with senior developers leading complex extensions.
- AI-POWERED DEVELOPMENT - IMPORTANT: We deliver with an AI-Powered software factory: you use AI-assisted development (AI pair-programming, test generation) and build agent-ready services / APIs where specified, supporting augmented and agentic engineering.
- ONSHORE-OFFSHORE DELIVERY - IMPORTANT: Development runs in a distributed onshore-offshore team that mirrors the client. You work to shared standards across geographies.
- DEVELOPMENT: Build Teamcenter customizations and extensions (ITK, SOA, Active Workspace / AWC). Use AI-assisted development (AI pair-programming, test generation) and build agent-ready services / APIs where specified. Implement integrations and migration utilities to technical design.
- QUALITY & DELIVERY: Write testable, documented code; unit-test and support performance / security validation within CI/CD. Work within the distributed onshore-offshore team to shared standards; senior band owns complex components and mentors.
- Junior (2-4 yrs): Builds to design under guidance; learns the Teamcenter stack and AI-assisted workflow.
- Intermediate (4-6 yrs): Delivers components independently; solid ITK / SOA / AWC; uses AI-assisted dev.
- Senior (7-10+ yrs): Owns complex extensions and agent-ready services; mentors; deep Teamcenter.
Must have skills: - Build Teamcenter customizations and extensions (ITK, SOA, Active Workspace / AWC).
- Use AI-assisted development (AI pair-programming, test generation) and build agent-ready services / APIs where specified.
- Implement integrations and migration utilities to technical design.
- Write testable, documented code; unit-test and support performance / security validation within CI/CD.
- Work within the distributed onshore-offshore team to shared standards; senior band owns complex components and mentors
- Software development experience is appropriate to the band.
- Hands-on Siemens Teamcenter customization (ITK, SOA, Active Workspace) - depth by band.
- Comfort working in a distributed onshore-offshore delivery team to shared standards.
- Solid programming (Java / C++ / web) and testing discipline.
The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $53,580 to $122,400

In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
