As a Software Engineer, you will...- Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure as code - using Terraform and Ansible to provision AWS resources, and Helm to package/deploy applications onto Kubernetes , while managing configuration and hardening of both cloud and on-prem systems to meet security compliance standards.
- Build and support CI/CD pipelines and observability tooling - integrating COTS and FOSS tools into secure/cleared environments, and standing up monitoring/logging dashboards to track system health and performance across containerized workloads.
- Automate and troubleshoot Linux-based systems at scale - writing Python/Bash scripts to handle repetitive operational tasks, remediate security vulnerabilities, and streamline deployments, while applying DevSecOps practices to bake security into the infrastructure and release process rather than bolting it on afterward.
Software Engineer Qualifications...- Security +, Cleared, Proficient in Linux, Chef, Hardening, Scripting, Automation, integration, AWS, Ansible Required Technical Skills
- Deploying cloud infrastructure using Terraform, Ansible, and Helm
- Experience with containerized environments: EKS, EKS Auto Mode, and Kubernetes
- Understanding of cloud vs. on prem deployments and configuring resources across both
Additional Skills We'd Like to See:- Broad knowledge of servers, networking, storage, and virtualization
- AWS architecture and integration experience
- DevSecOps experience with integrated security practice
- Experience with cloud metrics and logging dashboards (Grafana, Prometheus, Promtail, Loki)
- Strong Linux troubleshooting and automation scripting (Python, Bash)
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, GitLab, Artifactory, Helm)
- Experience integrating COTS and FOSS technologies in secure environments
