Job DescriptionOur client is a large, privately held manufacturing company. They are seeking a
Plant Controller to add to their growing team. The Plant Controller function includes monthly preparation of financial statements/analysis, as well as looking for process improvement in the month end close cycle.
RESPONSIBILITIES of the Plant Controller- Plant Controller is main point of contact to all functional groups/departments on accounting and finance items in this facility
- Will have lead role in the month end close, annual forecast and financial analysis
- Work with external auditors as needed
- Review and oversight of standard cost maintenance
- Plant Controller will have detailed knowledge of profitability analysis and key accounting/finance items

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE of Plant Controller- Bachelor s Degree in Accounting/Finance required
- MBA or CPA (or parts passed towards CPA) designation preferred
- 5+ years of experience in Accounting/Finance
- Excellent communication, people, written and presentation skills
- Team player who can work well with other functional groups
