Responsibilities- Scientific lead on the project and be the client's main source of contact.
- Perform all aspects of modeling and simulation to support drug development and clinical trials.
- Provide consultation and technical guidance for clients.
- Prepare reports and presentations for internal and external dissemination.
- Works collaboratively within assigned agile project team(s) to accomplish team goals.
- Participate in MetrumRG training courses as a teacher or aid.
- Present and publish scientific findings.
- Provide mentoring to scientific staff.
- Serve a leadership role in advancing the goals of the company.
- Project scoping and proposal preparation.
- Generate new business leads.
Requirements, Skills- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to apply modeling and simulation tools such as NONMEM, ADAPT, and stan to quantitative decision making.
- Perform programming and use statistical tools such as stan, R, or SAS.
- Ability to sit on drug development teams as pharmacometrician or statistician or systems pharmacologist.
- Desired: Perform Bayesian data analysis.
- Ability to work with others to complete team level tasks.
- Fluent in the use of Internet technologies and web-based software.
Education and ExperiencePh.D. degree in a scientific discipline (pharmaceutical sciences, pharmacokinetics, mathematics, statistics, biomedical engineering or a related field) or Master's degree with relevant experience, or equivalent.
Experience: 10+ years direct postgraduate experience. Demonstrated technical abilities and desire to advance the science and assume a leadership position within the company and scientific community.
