PKI Community and Policy Specialist

Manassas, VA

Full-time, Exempt

Security Clearance: Top Secret

BruckEdwards is seeking a strategic and technically adept PKI Community and Policy Specialist to support a high-impact federal identity and access management initiative. This role is ideal for professionals with expertise in communications, stakeholder engagement, Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), and a passion for shaping policy, technology adoption, and compliance in secure environments.

Requirements

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Drive stakeholder engagement and coordination across a diverse identity and credentialing community.
  • Support clear communication with community stakeholders.
  • Provide expert guidance on PKI policy, compliance, and emerging technologies.
  • Interpret and apply industry and government standards to support policy development and implementation.
  • Support communications, policy analysis, and compliance tracking across the ecosystem.
  • Ensure alignment with industry best practices and evolving federal standards.
  • Engage and support working groups as well as other industry groups and organizations.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, or an additional 5 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Experience with communications and customer engagement.
  • Demonstrated experience in strategic policy analysis and support for identity, credentialing, or access management programs.
  • In-depth knowledge of PKI technologies and federal ICAM frameworks.
  • Active Top Secret security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience supporting federal identity programs or trust frameworks.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Familiarity with governance models and compliance reporting in federal environments.
