PIC - Pharmacist in Charge - Hospital Setting - South (I-240)

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science (BS) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited pharmacy school required.
• Two or more years of clinical experience preferred.
• Completion of a PGY-1 residency is preferred.
• Current pharmacist license from the state of practice required.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational leadership and oversight of pharmacy services.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational standards.
• Manage pharmacy staffing and operations effectively.
• Oversee inventory management and controlled substance accountability.
• Implement local and system-wide pharmacy initiatives.
• Serve as a key resource for pharmacy staff, nursing, and providers.
• Promote safe and effective medication use throughout the organization.
